It was interesting to read about the Students for a Democratic Society's "Funk the War" protest in The Daily Campus on Friday. Apparently the only thing that got less attention than the release of the MTV movie Stop-Loss, was the fact that a bunch of college students served the members of the House of Representatives and the Senate with stop-loss notices telling them they were not to leave their posts (go on vacation, visit family, etc.

When walking through the mass of students moving hastily through Franklin Dining Common to get a quick bite to eat, it becomes easy to ignore certain things. Elliot Hall has always had a special history with children.
For over 70 years the building, known as Elliot City Hospital and then Elliot Community Hospital, welcomed babies into the world.
In 1973 Keene State College acquired the building, naming it Elliot Hall.

A male student reported his backpack, which contained his laptop, iPod and passport missing from Ell Hall, where he had left it for 15 minutes.
